The TLI41222 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (Car) is a nationally recognized qualification designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to train individuals or groups in car driving. Course Delivery

• Mode: Blended learning (face-to-face + online distance learning).

Entry Requirements

To enrol in this course, you must:

• Be over 21 years old.
• Live or work in Australia.
• Have completed at least Australian high school Year 10 (or equivalent).
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Have sound Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) skills.
• Be in good general health and fitness for practicals.
• Hold a current full (unrestricted) Australian driver’s license.
• Obtain a letter of eligibility from the local RMS.
• Provide your own vehicle equivalent to the license held.

Note: Learners who do not meet LLN requirements may still enrol with additional support strategies.

• Learner guides, assessment workbooks, and project templates.
• Simulated resources for assessment tasks.
• Additional course readings and resources recommended by trainers.
• Industry-relevant tools, equipment, and PPE, including:
  • Safety equipment (vests, hard hats, safety glasses, etc.).
  • Vehicle maintenance tools (tire pressure gauges, diagnostic tools, etc.).
  • Training aids (cones, lane markers, etc.).
  • First aid kits and emergency response equipment.

Students must arrange access to:

• A computer/laptop with internet access (preferably Google Chrome).
• Software such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• A vehicle representative of the license class held.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Bright Square Pty Ltd offers RPL to recognize prior learning through formal/informal training, work experience, or life experiences. This may help learners progress faster or gain full credit for certain units.
